Every piece gets a fabric check before any water touches it, then pre-treatment and a controlled extraction that doesn't over-wet the fabric. In Auckland's humidity that matters: less water in means a faster, fresher dry.

We remove loose surface dust and debris, check cushions and prepare the furniture for cleaning.
Pre-treatment & spot work

Delicate, vintage, silk, velvet, linen, viscose or rayon, leather and fabrics that can't take water may need specialist care or sit outside our standard scope. If we can't clean something safely, we'll tell you on the day before we start.
No, and we won't promise it. We pre-treat common marks and most fresh stains lift well, but some can be permanent: dye transfer, bleach, rust, ink, makeup, paint, tannins, old set-in stains, pet urine, water damage and sun fading. Send photos and we'll tell you honestly whether we expect a mark to lift.
Usually a few hours to overnight. It depends on the fabric, how heavily it was cleaned and the air in the room, and Auckland's humidity slows things down, especially in winter or a closed-up room. Open the windows, run a fan or a heat pump on its dry setting, and keep off the cushions until they're dry. We'll give you drying advice on the day.
Usually, when it's the damp, lived-in smell a couch picks up over a humid Auckland winter. The clean lifts the soil that holds the smell, and deodorising deals with most of what's left. If there's mould growing in the foam or frame, that's a specialist job, and we'll tell you before we start. Airing the room afterwards helps stop it coming back.
