A little about Glen Eden.
Glen Eden sits in the western suburbs at the foot of the Waitākere Ranges, around fourteen kilometres from the city, between New Lynn and the bush. It is an established, down-to-earth family suburb, mostly post-war homes and bungalows with newer townhouses appearing near the town centre, and on the western edge the sections get bigger and leafier as the streets climb toward Oratia and the ranges. It is one of the more affordable and diverse parts of the west.
