A local team for local homes.
Point Chevalier sits on its own peninsula, reaching out into the Waitematā. Most of the homes are California bungalows from the 1920s to the 1940s and Art Deco houses from the 1930s, with bigger, newer homes closer to the water. We clean the lot, from Great North Road down to Coyle Park. Art Deco classic or new build near the beach, we clean both.
Whether it's a one-off clean before guests arrive, a regular weekly visit, or a full end-of-tenancy on the way out, you're working with the same trained Spruce cleaners every time. Same person, same checklist, same standard.

House Cleaning
One-off or recurring cleans for any Point Chevalier home, priced by the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The standard package covers kitchens, bathrooms, dusting, floors, doors and skirting, with extras like oven, fridge, windows or carpets added at checkout.
Regular Cleaning
Weekly or fortnightly upkeep for Point Chevalier households, with the same Spruce cleaner each visit so they learn your home, your preferences, and the things you'd rather not be asked about every fortnight. Weekly bookings get a small discount versus fortnightly.
Deep Cleaning
A deep clean digs into everything a regular visit keeps on top of — the oven, the grout, the dust on top of the cupboards, and the marks worked into the walls, plus behind and under what can be moved. Worth booking when a home needs more than maintenance.
End of Tenancy
Set up for the final inspection — interior surfaces, the inside of every cupboard and drawer, switches and skirting, and reasonable wall marks removed, with oven, range hood, blinds and interior glass available on top. Backed by a free re-clean inside 48 hours if the landlord or agent isn't happy.
Carpet Cleaning
A proper carpet clean: hot-water extraction to draw the embedded grit and grime up out of the fibres, with the usual stains pre-treated beforehand and a fast dry-down after. Add deodorising if you'd like it. Charged by the room, and stairs, hallways and loose rugs are quoted separately.
Window Cleaning
We clean the glass both sides and tidy the frames, sills and tracks, following a fixed order so nothing's skipped. Upper-floor windows use pure-water poles on safe access; anything at unusual height, plus balcony glass and balustrades, is priced per property.
A simple, repeatable standard.
The four things every Point Chevalier customer can count on, every clean, every visit.
Trained cleaners
Every Spruce cleaner is trained against our U standard before they ever set foot in your home — and re-checked as they go.
Defined checklist
Every clean works to a documented room-by-room checklist. No mystery about what gets done — and no rooms forgotten.
48-hour guarantee
If anything's not right, tell us within 48 hours and we'll come back and re-clean it. No fuss, and no second invoice.

California bungalows from the 1920s to the 1940s and Art Deco houses from the 1930s, on the streets off Great North Road.
Settled owners
Seven in ten Point Chevalier households own their home, and nearly half of residents were at the same address five years earlier. Regular cleans for homes people have been in for years.
Homes near the beach
The larger architect-designed homes near Point Chevalier Beach, and the newer streets north of Meola Road.
Move-out cleans
End-of-tenancy cleans for renters wanting their bond back, with a documented checklist for the landlord.
Pre-sale cleans
Whole-home cleans to get a place camera-ready for listing day, scheduled alongside your agent.
After-renovation cleans
Post-renovation cleans for kitchens, bathrooms and whole-house jobs — construction dust, plaster film and leftover packaging cleared so the room's ready to live in.
We also cover the neighbours.
Our Point Chevalier cleaners cover the surrounding central suburbs too. If you're nearby, we're probably already on your street most weeks.
A little about Point Chevalier.
Point Chevalier sits five kilometres west of the city centre, mostly on a triangular peninsula that reaches 1.8 kilometres into the Waitematā Harbour, with the Northwestern Motorway along its southern edge. It was rural until between the wars, when the bungalows went up, and it was a summer destination: the tram ran to Coyle Park until the Harbour Bridge opened in 1959 and people started driving further afield.
Great North Road is the main shopping strip, and Carrington Road runs past the heritage-listed old Carrington Hospital toward Unitec. Point Chevalier Beach and Coyle Park are at the tip, and Meola Reef, an outcrop of volcanic basalt, runs out into the harbour. Our cleaners know the area, from the 1930s Art Deco homes that need a gentle hand on original timber and tiles to the streets running down to the beach.
