A little about Kingsland.
Kingsland sits on a ridge just west of Mt Eden, bordered by Eden Terrace, Morningside and Western Springs, with Eden Park right on its doorstep. It's a small, lively suburb best known for its village strip and the stadium, with a tight run of restored Victorian villas and cottages on the surrounding streets, plus newer townhouses and apartments near the centre. The homes here tend to be on the compact side, with all the character that comes with their age.
New North Road runs through the middle as the village strip, packed with bars, restaurants and cafes, with Kingsland Station right alongside and Eden Park a couple of streets away.
