A little about Riverhead.
Riverhead sits at the head of the upper Waitematā Harbour in Auckland's northwest, around twenty-six kilometres from the city and just east of Kumeu. It is an old settlement, known for its historic riverside village and the large Riverhead Forest, that has grown quickly in recent years as new subdivisions have gone in around the town.
