A little about Hillsborough.
Hillsborough sits on the northern shore of the Manukau Harbour, bordered by Mt Roskill, Three Kings, Royal Oak and Waikōwhai, with Grannys Bay, Taylors Bay and Hillsborough Bay along the water. It's a leafy suburb of 20th-century houses, and Hillsborough Cemetery, used mostly between 1916 and 1976, runs along the ridge.
